April 14 at 10 AM, Christians in the Ruby Valley will conduct the Stations of the Cross, beginning at Christ Church and walking throughout Sheridan, and pausing to meditate upon Jesus' walk.
When we return to the church, we will have a short service with readings. Each year on a Sunday in early October, we gather to celebrate the teachings and example of St. Francis. We also celebrate his love for all God's creatures with a blessing of our special animal friends and helpers. Don't forget to bring your pets and furry pals to be blessed in the churchyard tomorrow (Sunday, October 2nd) for our St. Francis Sunday service.
Don't miss the St. Francis service on Sunday, October 2nd. Bring your critters!! St. Francis is the patron saint of animals. Father Bruce McNab will bless all our winged and furry friends in the church yard following the service. Also, please mark your calendars for October 9th when the Young family will be joining us! Father Todd is excited to be celebrating the Eucharist with his first congregation.
Reverend Janis spent a week at Camp Marshall during Junior Middlers Camp, helping celebrate the Eucharist and other pastoral duties. Her husband, David, and grandsons James and Erick also enjoyed the week at Flathead Lake.
Our acolyte, Beth and her classmate, Trystan were at Camp Marshall the following week for Senior High Camp. If you're not seeing the wonderful photos, please check this post on a non-mobile device (desktop or laptop). |
